New It Make! Community radio show on Free Culture.
Welcome to the New It Make Kete.
And goodbye. New It Make is old. I'm not doing it anymore.
New It Make, was a radio show which you may have heard on Thursdays at 2pm on Community Radio Hamilton. More than just a radio show, it was an initiative to raise awarness about the Creative Commons, Free Culture, Free/Open Source Software to my local community, in the Waikato region of New Zealand, and beyond.
If you click on the link that says podcasts up above, on the "audio" link over to the right there, or right here, you will find links to pages where you can download MP3s of the episodes I did in 2009/10. There is also one ogg, because it's an interview with Richard Stallman and he requested that format. Which is good, and I plan to convert all the episodes to have an ogg version someday, but hey I'm lazy.
I'm slowly migrating episodes to archive.org, and eventually this site will go away. Very slowly. In fact in 8 months, I've only managed to move over two.
Gravity Computing sponsored the airtime for this program:
Gravity support Free/Open Source Software solutions as well as specializing in consulting and automation of Microsoft Office and other common software applications.
Because I feel dirty for having mentioned Microsoft Office, I'll put a link here to OpenOffice.org to redeem myself. Which Gravity Computing can help you with too!

I've started (and stopped) using a little intro music from the "Creativity Builds On The Past" video the Creative Commons put out a few years ago. I ripped the audio track out of the flv file from:
