The Images Coalesce

Caption
I became fascinated with this image, the original image when I stumbled upon it on flickr, a site I spend an inordinate amount of time on. The original image is here. The author of the orginal image has written that he's no longer interested in maintaining his flickr site, and may take down his page at some point. And these amazing photos could disappear from the internet. They are published under a attribution non-commercial licenses, so if the author decides to close his account, we can still hope to see them again elsewhere, maybe even here. While his page is still available, though, I see no point in republishing. I had downloaded a few of his images, and since the license allows for remixing as well, I wanted to 'do something' with the image. The result here is more an accident than any conscious design I had intended, but I was happy with the result.
Here is a woman oblivious to the unreal danger that threatens her in the future. You may say there is a picture of real woman in front of an image, but is the actor holding the weapon, any less real than she is now in this image? I wanted to remove the woman from reality and put her into the image. This is one imagined process of that happending. The images coalese.
My default license got placed on this page, but in reality the image here is under the attribution non-commercial license, same as the original. You can consider any text though, under the regular attribution license.
